"The beautiful spring came, and when nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also."
~Harriet Ann Jacobs
Now that spring is in the air, we are delighted to welcome Easter and all of the joy that comes with it. Not only is this a great time to celebrate with baskets full of treats from the Easter bunny and beautifully decorated pastel Easter eggs, this is also a fabulous time to enjoy the delights of spring! Easter lilies are popular choice this time of year because they represent new hope and a sense of renewed life. The trumpeted blooms are the perfect herald for a new spring season. The floral designers at Kittelberger Florist are happy to show you our gorgeous Easter designs for spring this year. Read More about Bright, Cheerful Lilies For Easter
Kittelberger Florist & Gifts is here with a PSA (thank us later). October 16 is National Bosses Day, so designated in the 1960s after a plucky employee wanted an official occasion to honor her boss, who also happened to be her dad. Cut to today, when we're called upon to acknowledge the efforts of our guides and mentors, those leaders who spend their workday keeping the team on task and together. Offering this pivotal person in our lives a little something special does a lot to create good work karma. Read More about Show Your Appreciation This Bosses Day
That's right, self care has an entire month devoted to it, and that month is September. How fortunate that we find ourselves here, poised on the edge of fall, at a time when the powers-that-be have decided we should all just take a moment to attend to ourselves. Here at Kittelberger Florist & Gifts, we can think of no better way to prep for fall's dazzling entrance at the end of the month, with the holidays just behind, than to give ourselves a little attention. Yes to self care! Read More about Pretty Plants For Self Care Awareness Month
After a long winter (which doesn't seem quite over yet), we here at Kittelberger Florist want to call attention to the state of our work place surfaces, including, but not limited to: personal desks, conference and meeting tables, reception areas and cubicles. If yours are cluttered, dismal or just totally bereft, it's time for a whole-office refresh. Since we spend almost as much time in our work zones as in our homes, it's important for us to consider how our desks can be organized for efficiency and comfort. We can easily revive them with plants and flowers, and the time to do so is now, just ahead of Administrative Professionals Day on April 25.
