Give Green To Our Nurses And Teachers

Both Nurse Appreciation Week and Teacher Appreciation Week fall May 6 through May 12, so it’s time to give credit where credit is due. Since these fields are dominated by women, Kittelberger Florist & Gifts likes to think of this as a chance to honor the “super ladies” in our lives, the ones who educate, nurture, protect and otherwise empower the rest of us. Many of these wonder women are also moms, sisters, aunts, friends, neighbors and colleagues. We should thank them all year long for their tireless efforts, but this week, you’ll want to make that gratitude concrete.

Green is often lacking in both hospitals and classrooms. In both cases, many people are there to enjoy whatever green is brought in (and to help care for it). And given the health benefits of plants—they oxygenate the air and help rid it of toxins—giving one to your favorite teachers and nurses is really the perfect gesture. We like our¬†Ceramic Dish Garden¬†because it looks just lovely on a desk or table and offers so much interest. It’s the playful mix of plants here that adds all that texture and appeal.

Join us in honoring teachers and nurses this May with a thoughtful plant gift that will bring a smile to these super ladies’ faces.
